As a two-year journey toward improving the safety of walkers and bike riders in Hermosa comes to a crucial crossroads, community leaders are seeking letters of support from residents.
Hermosa Planning and Zoning committee president Joan Harris and a group of community leaders attended the Custer Board of Education meeting in Hermosa recently to ask the district for a letter of support for a grant which will help replace broken sidewalks and build new ones to create a safe route to Hermosa School for students.
