Despite a lone vote against it, the Town of Keystone has a new ordinance regulating the ethics and conduct of trustees and appointed officials.
Trustee Casey McNulty cast the nay vote at the March 6 town board meeting.
McNulty began his opposition to the ordinance immediately, asking to amend the minutes of the previous meeting to reflect his rationale against the ordinance stating that the town already had a code of conduct policy in place and an ordinance in place with Robert’s Rules. McNulty also questioned the cost of publishing the new ordinance.
