A Custer man who was indicted by a federal grand jury on multiple counts of child pornography last year has changed his plea to guilty to one count of the indictment as part of a plea bargain.
Donald Ray Wurtz appeared before U.S. magistrate Daneta Wollman in Rapid City on February 1 and entered a guilty plea to Count 1 of the indictment which charged him with receipt of child pornography.
Wollman accepted the plea and set a sentencing hearing for Monday, April 17, at 3 p.m. in the Rapid City courtroom of Judge Andrew Bogue.
