A new display at the Keystone Museum mixes history with popular culture.
Last summer Museum director Casey Sullivan stumbled across a website that had a bunch of movies in South Dakota.
“It got me thinking about how there were quite a few references in films for Mount Rushmore and some of the Black Hills settings in general,” he said.
Sullivan began to research the topic and decided it would be a great opportunity to add a new display at the Keystone Museum that might attract a younger generation to visit.
