During the Hill City School District Board of Education meeting Jan. 10 the board approved the bid for a cafeteria upgrade at a total cost of $119,353.01. This will include the removal of old materials, installation of new bleachers and replacement of the flooring. The current bleachers and flooring are all original.
The new flooring is a durable, maple colored multi-use cushioned vinyl. It is proclaimed to be sturdy, water safe and easily cleaned.
“I’m really excited about this,” said Superintendent Blake Gardner.
