Anjanette Maxfield

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anjanette “Angie” Marie (Winkle) Maxfield, a beloved soul whose light touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Angie peacefully departed this world Jan. 27, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an unyielding zest for life that will forever be cherished.
Born on March 11, 1975, in Rexburg, Idaho, the third and youngest daughter of James A. and Pamela Winkle, Angie was a beacon of hope and positivity from the very beginning. Her infectious laughter and radiant smile could brighten even the darkest of days. Angie had an innate ability to find joy in the simplest of things and she shared that joy with everyone she met.
Family was the cornerstone of Angie’s life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend, whose love for her family was immeasurable. Angie found her ultimate joy in life as a wife to her best friend and soulmate, Neil Maxfield, and as a mother to her amazing children, twin boys Cade and Carson and daughter Autumn.  Angie’s love and bond with her family was unbreakable, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Angie is survived by her husband, Neil Maxfield of Lennox, S.D.; her children, Cade, Carson and Autumn Maxfield; father and step-mother, James A. and Ula Winkle of Rexburg, Idaho; her siblings, Desiree and Kevin Weber of Sioux Falls, S.D., Rachael and Pat Hanisch of Colton, S.D.;  her nieces and nephews; as well as her extended family, Joy and Joe Hill of Concord, N.C., Carla Skiles, Scott Kraft, Neil and Tracy Buchholz of Hill City, S.D., and Mike and Brenda Johnson of Rapid City, S.D., all of whom will forever hold her in their hearts.
Angie has left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her and her memory will be a source of comfort and love, inspiring all of us to live with the same grace, courage and compassion that defined her.
