Kidzlife to begin Oct. 7 at LWC

With the school year well under way and Homecoming week in the rearview mirror, children’s workers from the Little White Church are launching  Kidzlife Kids Club for grades K-5 Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 3:15 p.m. going until 5:15 p.m. at the church. This club will be held every Wednesday until early April 2027, following the school schedule.

All children from the community grades K-5 are invited to join the two-hour session, which will include Bible stories, songs, hands-on activities and games.  The group will be divided into a program for grades K-3 and a separate program for grades four and five.

Following are the themes for the younger group at Kidzlife: What is the Bible, Celebrating Christmas by packing gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse, Caroling and a birthday party for Jesus. After Christmas, there will be candy themes such as God’s Sweet Love for You and Showing God’s Sweet Love to Others, Making Valentines for others, some of them going to My Golden Valentine sponsored by KSLT radio, a pizza party lesson on friendship and a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus at Easter.

Grades four and five will tackle Christian Apologetics for Kids, encouraging truth, faith, courage and always being ready. A few of the units are Starting the Quest for Truth, The God Question, The Mystery of Life and Creation and Hard Questions, Doubts and Big Feelings.

Children will meet in front of Hill City Elementary School after school Wednesdays, and two adults will walk the children to the church. Parents should let their child’s teacher know if they will attend.
