Lance Feddersen
Lance Steven Feddersen was born to Steven and Vicki Feddersen April 4, 1984, in Gillette, Wyo. He grew up in Newcastle, Wyo., where he attended school and graduated in 2003.
After high school he attended Jobs Corps in Nemo, S.D., where he graduated with a certification in stone masonry. He married Tanya Anderson in Newcastle, Wyo., July 19, 2008 and he became step- father to Kelly and Austin.
From the time he was young he loved hunting, fishing and all animals. He loved to spend time joking and spending time with his family. He taught his kids to hunt, fish, and to love the outdoors as much as he did.
Even though Kelly and Austin weren’t his biological kids he never treated them any differently and glowed with pride whenever they were mentioned. He also loved his tea-cup Chihuahua, Mamas. He bought her dresses and even called home specifically to talk to her while he was away with work.
Lance, of Hill City, S.D., died unexpectedly May 12, 2023. He was 39.
His is survived by his children, Kelly and Austin; his wife, Tanya; parents, Steve and Vicki; sisters, Brandi, Amber and Crystal; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
