New Underwood Regional High School Rodeo

Results are in for the New Underwood Regional High School Rodeo June 12-14. For Custer, Kylee Ellerton placed second in both rounds of regions. She won the average for the weekend in goat tying and brought home a new buckle. She is taking 23 points into state.

Addie Sander finished sixth in the first round and third the second round in barrell racing. She is taking 26 points into state for barrels. She also placed sixth in pole bending in the second round, taking in five points for poles for state. 

Colton Dorrance earned second place in bull riding first round. This qualified him for state, and he will be carrying nine points into state.

Jayden Lange placed 10th in pole bending second round, which qualified her for state.

State starts in Fort Pierre June 16 with cutting and reined cow horse. Performances will start June 18-19 with the Short Go or championship top 15 June 20.
