Rosemary Wuenschel
Rosemary “Marie” Wuenschel (Grunewaldt) of Groveland, Fla., beloved mother, grandmother, partner and friend, passed away Nov. 15, 2024, at the age of 83.
Originally from Custer, S.D., Marie graduated from Custer High School in 1959. Throughout her life, she lived and worked in Louisiana, New Mexico, North Carolina, New York and Florida, and enjoyed traveling to various destinations worldwide.
Marie held diverse professional roles, including office manager for Christian radio and television stations, small business owner-operator for manufactured homes, realtor/broker, guardian ad litem, substitute teacher, and was active in local county government.
Marie was a wonderful person who loved the Lord, she will be profoundly missed and will hold a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother, a devoted partner, and the sweetest of friends. Her kindness, warmth and laughter filled every room she entered.
She lived her life with grace and a deep commitment to the people she loved, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and beautiful memories.
Marie was married to Lt. Col. Ferdinand (Fred) Wuenschel, U.S. Army (Ret.), who predeceased her in 2004.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Rose Grunewaldt and Florine Custer; daughter, Kristen Kincaid Entrekin; grandson, Ryan Maness; and brother, Albert Vogal.
She is survived by her beloved partner, Jay Gehring; son, Keven Kincaid of Rapid City, S.D.; daughter, Kalissa Kincaid (Scott) of Windermere Fla.; adored grandson Mason; and her sister, Eloise (Marvin) Kampbell, of Hay Springs Neb.

Interment will be at the National Cemetery near Sturgis, S.D.
