Jacqueline Loutsch

Jacqueline Loutsch was born Aug. 31, 1953, in Stillwater, Minn., to Verden and Hilma (Johnson) McKusick.  
Jackie was proud to have graduated from Simpson College with honors.   She enjoyed many things: bird watching, gardening, tending to house plants, collecting and refinishing antiques, fishing and thrift store shopping.   Getting her first elk was a great moment in her life!
Jackie, of Custer, S.D., passed away Feb. 12, 2023, at her home in Custer. She was 69.
She is survived by her soulmate, Michael Golightly; daughters, Bobette (Brian) Burkum and Katherine Loutsch; son, Christopher LaBarre; brother, Jeffrey (Mary) McKusick; sisters, Sheri Martyl and Janice (Gary) Gruber; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Christian Funeral Mass was Feb. 17 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer with Christian Funeral Committal following at the Custer Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Monument Health Hospice.
